We believe that there is no formula for getting married. Whether it’s just the two of you eloping on top of a mountain or an intimate wedding surrounded by a few of your closest family and friends, we help you craft an experience that is unique to who you are as a couple.
We plan every part of your day, from helping you choose the perfect locations, coordinating the best vendors and structuring your perfect timeline.

Where it all began
2006
Ricky moved to Queenstown chasing adventure and to start his photography career as a skydiving photographer.
2007
Louise arrived in Queenstown from the UK for a season of snowboarding and backpacking shenanigans.
2008
We meet each other in the gym, there was an instant connection. We fell wildly in love, moved in together after two months (against all of our friend’s advice.) Then we got busy enjoying life together and adventuring around the world for the next 10 years.
2020
Louise was busy planning events, from hen’s parties to high tea’s, all while teaching Yoga and running a dance studio!
Ricky changed pace from skydiving photography to studio photography, portraits and wedding photography.
2021
We decided that after 14 years together we should finally make it official and elope in the most beautiful place in Glenorchy appropriately named Paradise.
After planning our elopement in under 2 weeks we realised that we’re quite good at this planning thing and dreamt up the idea of starting our own elopement business.
2024
Wild Love was born!

A little about us.
We met in Queenstown 16 years ago. Our first official date was rock climbing.
Hiking, snowboarding, surfing, campervan trips with our daughter and eating good food are our favourite things to do!
We love to travel! We’ve traveled to many amazing places all around the world together and even hiked across the entire country of Spain!
Ricky began studying photography at 15 years old. His first photography job was as a skydiving photographer!
Louise has always loved planning adventures and functions. She is amazing with people and loves creating dream elopements!
LOUISE
Louise is the extravert in the relationship. She loves dancing, entertaining and laughing till she cries!
Louise is a master at organising events, whether it’s an elopement in the mountains of Queenstown or a hen’s dance party at a local airbnb.
RICKY
Ricky is happiest in the outdoors, whether that’s hiking in the mountains, snowboarding in the backcountry or surfing in the cold water of New Zealand.
Ricky has always been creative but photography has been his main creative outlet since studying it in high school.
